Most parents who walk in here aren't looking for a fighter.
They're looking for a kid who listens the first time. Who doesn't fall apart when
something gets hard. Who can stand in front of people without shrinking.
That's the actual work we do.
Master Kang grew up as the shy kid in the room — the one who spoke last and
looked at the floor. Martial arts is what changed that. It's why every class here
is built around the quiet kid, the restless kid, and the one who's already
convinced they're going to quit.
While many schools measure progress in belts, we measure it in behavior:
how your child speaks, waits, and carries themselves — inside the dojang and
at your dinner table.
At ABBA Newnan, martial arts isn't a class on the calendar. It's a habit your
child keeps for life.
Discipline isn't a speech. It's a routine repeated until it becomes normal.
Every ABBA class follows the same structure, so your child always knows what's expected — and always knows what "doing it right" looks like.
Parents usually tell us the first change they notice isn't the kicking.
It's the listening.
That carries into school, into homework, and into how your child handles the word "no."

We offer martial arts programs tailored to different age groups and skill levels:

“This school is very structured, and the instructors truly care about the kids. My child has become more focused and confident, and you can see the discipline they teach in every class.”

Emily R.
“We started noticing a difference within the first few weeks.
Our child is more confident, listens better, and looks forward to every class.”

Jennifer L.
Our mission is simple.
Our mission is simple: help people start with discipline and live with purpose.
Not to produce trophies. To produce a child who keeps their word, respects the
person in front of them, and knows they can do hard things.
"The Greatest Power in Life is Discipline."
No pressure. No obligation. No sales pitch at the door.
Your child joins a real class — not a demo — meets Master Kang, and you watch
from the side and see exactly how we teach. If it's not the right fit, you'll
know in 40 minutes, and that's a completely fine answer.
It's the norm. Most kids who walk in have never worn a uniform. The first class is designed so a total beginner still leaves feeling like they did it right.
Then you're exactly who we built this program for. Kids quit when they can't see progress. Our belt structure gives a visible win every 12 weeks — close enough to keep going, far enough to require effort.
Ages 4–6 (Tiny Warriors), 7–12 (Warriors), 13–17 (Teen), and 18+ (Adult). Each group trains separately with age-appropriate instruction.
Beginners do no contact at all. Around the five-month mark — once a student shows real control — we introduce light-contact sparring in full protective gear. Never before.
We don't. Our classes are scheduled so parents, grandparents, and homeschool families can bring students directly, without waiting on a bus route.
No. The trial class is free and separate from any membership. We'll talk about options only if your child wants to come back.
